The Spleen is dedicated to the fight against socialism and on this day 1944 a great many men and women gave their lives fighting Hitler’s fascist-socialist armies.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning

Also spare a thought for the common German soldier on this day, the allies had the right to be conscientious objectors, the Germans would have been shot. Not all Germans were Nazis and a great many of them died as well.
